Hello Glenoaks Families,

Welcome to another amazing year at Glenoaks Elementary! It is truly my honor and privilege to be able to work at such an amazing school. I have been an educator for 17 years, of which 15 of those years have been with Glendale Unified. Three years ago, I was promoted to teacher specialist for Dunsmore and Mark Keppel Elementary, where I later became the assistant principal. In all my positions, I was constantly mentored by instructional leaders who encouraged my professional growth. I have been involved in many district-level committees and have been a district induction mentor. What I am most proud of is my professional training in Restorative Practices, which has molded me into the person I am today.

The social emotional well-being and academic success of ALL of our students is a priority of mine. To ensure that our students continue to have a safe and nurturing environment, I am committed to working in partnership with our families, staff and community to support our scholars in reaching their maximum potential. I know that Glenoaks shares a similar vision which is why I am thrilled to be a part of this dynamic community.

I have been married for 22 years, and have two children who are both products of Glendale Unified. My son will be starting his senior year at UCI, and my daughter is a junior at Crescenta Valley High School, where she is the libero on the JV Volleyball team. We love spending time with our dog Mylo, who is only a year and a half!
